KPSC Irregularities Must Be Fixed: Vijayendra
Bengaluru: Lakhs of students in the state are struggling to shape their future, said BJP state president and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra.
Speaking at Vidhana Soudha in response to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s statement regarding the KPSC (Karnataka Public Service Commission) examination, he stated that everyone, irrespective of party affiliation, is in favor of resolving this issue. He emphasized the need to identify the causes behind the irregularities.
He pointed out that results are either delayed or, even when announced, interviews do not take place—such irregularities have been happening continuously for many years.
“This issue must reach a logical conclusion. The Chief Minister has given a good response, and leaders of the opposition have also spoken on this matter. A proper resolution must be found,” he said.
He further urged the government to relax the age limit for students considering their future and conduct a re-examination. He stressed that such problems should not recur and that the government must take necessary measures to prevent them.
